I personally like mine. It is easy to use, has a low noise level, and is a great buy! It is not an air conditioner so don’t expect it to cool like one, but it is great for what it is! It is a nice personal space cooler. Add ice, then water, and wet and freeze the filter before use for the optimum cooling experience. It works great to put on a bedside table and turn it toward the bed at night!.

Powerful personal fan/ac. I researched several personal a/c units and the Arctic Air ranked #1 in all reviews. It is small, but the 3-setting air flow allows me to adjust the fan to my needs. Definitely soak and freeze the filter and add ice cubes to the water tray to insure optimum cooling. I bought one to try it out. Now my son wants one in his room! I followed the directions right out of the box. I put the filter right in the freezer and put ice in the top before I put in the water. It was the first night I sleep for 9 hours in years. I did go back and order two more filters because I keep forgetting to take the filter out and put it back in the refreeze. That’s my mistake. My husband now wants to try one and see if it works for him. He will post his review after he tests his out. To make it work right you do need to freeze the filter and put ice in the top.

Love this little device. No, it doesn’t replace A/C, but it’s a terrific stop gap to get you cool(er) while your A/C gets cranked up…or if you plan to isolate yourself in one spot so you may not need your A/C down as low or use it as frequently.
